Private AI for Australian enterprise

Brisbane-built private AI for Australian enterprise, managed under the boundary your data requires without locking you to a black-box model API.

No single model decides

We don't stake a decision on one model's guess. Several models work the problem in parallel and check each other, so weak or conflicting answers are surfaced. Routine calls run on their own. The ones that matter get a person's sign-off. Either way your team gets an answer it can stand behind.

It works across text, image, audio and video. No third-party model API is used unless explicitly included in the agreed scope. The deployment mode is agreed before build: RyderAI-managed Australian hosting, or a client-owned deployment where the operating requirements justify it. In a client-owned deployment, you receive the agreed deployment artefacts, runbooks, governance records and exit materials; RyderAI retains its reusable platform, orchestration and internal tooling IP.

Self-hosting is the default for a reason. Under APRA CPS 234, supplier risk stays with the regulated entity even when a third party delivers the AI. Proprietary APIs can increase the assurance and portability work because inspection, audit rights and exit paths depend on the supplier's contract and operating model. Open weights and portable deployment artefacts reduce that lock-in. A proprietary model is the exception we reach for when a workload clearly justifies it, never the default.

RyderAI is a private, sovereign AI consultancy. There are no account managers and no offshore juniors. You work directly with Ryder, who designs each system himself, from the data to the deployed model. He is accountable for the work, and the client deployment, runbooks, governance records and exit artefacts are documented to reduce key-person dependency.

Ryder has degrees in physics and computer science from QUT. He built RyderAI because he rejects the idea that Australian organisations must send sensitive work offshore to use frontier AI.

He runs RyderAI on the same control principles he applies to client work: Australian-hosted private infrastructure, renewable-powered compute where practical, and third-party model APIs only where explicitly scoped. Automation handles routine throughput, while Ryder stays on the judgement calls.

For the Queensland Reds, Ryder built a real-time player-tracking minimum viable product: computer vision and drone tracking followed each player, turning games into insights the coaching staff could use during the match and after it.

Before RyderAI, Ryder built a public flood early-warning platform for his QUT computer-science capstone, pairing tide harmonics with machine learning to forecast river height and trigger public alerts automatically. For his UNSW data-science Masters, Ryder's capstone modelling beat the national electricity market operator's demand forecast by 15%. He has also built an object-detection prototype presented to public-sector and enterprise audiences, and mentored at Innovation Central Brisbane.
